About Shane Kimbrough:

Robert Shane Kimbrough is a retired United States Army officer and a NASA astronaut. He was part of the first group of candidates selected for NASA astronaut training following the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster. He was born on the 4th of June 1967 (Age 53). He has been on the following space missions: Expedition 50, Soyuz MS-02, Expedition 49, STS-126, Expedition 65, STS-400! Later this month Crew-2 will be added to that list. He will be the Commander and pilot of the NASA SpaceX Crew-2 mission to the ISS!

Date of birth: He was born on the 4th of June 1967! He is now 53 years old!

About Akihiko Hoshide:

Akihiko Hoshide is a Japanese engineer and JAXA astronaut. On August 30, 2012, Hoshide became the third Japanese astronaut to walk in space. He has been on the following space missions: Expedition 32, STS-124, Soyuz TMA-05M, Expedition 33, Expedition 65 and later this year Crew-2 will be added to that list! He will join as a mission specialist on the NASA SpaceX Crew-2 mission to the ISS!

Date of birth: He was born on the 28th of December 1968! He is now 52 years old!

About Megan McArthur:

Katherine Megan McArthur is an American oceanographer, engineer, and a National Aeronautics and Space Administration astronaut. She has served as a Capsule Communicator for both the space shuttle and space station. Megan McArthur has flown one space shuttle mission, STS-125. She has been on the following space missions: STS-125, Expedition 65, STS-400 and later this month Crew-2 will be added to that list! She will join as Commander and pilot of the NASA SpaceX Crew-2 mission to the ISS!

She was born on the 30th of August 1971! She is now 49 years old!

About Thomas Pesquet:

Thomas Gautier Pesquet is a French aerospace engineer, pilot, and European Space Agency astronaut. Pesquet was selected by ESA as a candidate in May 2009, and he successfully completed his basic training in November 2010. He has been on the following space missions: Expedition 50, Soyuz MS-03, Expedition 51, Expedition 65 and later this month Crew-2 will be added to that list!

He was born on the 27th of February 1978! He is now 43 years old!

Crew-2 Launch To The ISS!

  SpaceX Crew-2 will be the second crewed operational flight of a Crew Dragon spacecraft, and the third overall crewed orbital flight. The mission is planned to launch on the 22nd of April 2021! When will Crew-2 launch? -We are unsure what time Crew-2 will launch but we do know that the NASA Live coverage will begin at 3:11 a.m. PT on Thursday, April 22! When will Crew-2 dock with the ISS? If the mission goes to plan, Crew-2 will dock with the International Space Station as scheduled on April 23rd around 7:05 a.m. EDT! Where will Crew-2 launch from? Crew-2 will launch from historic LC-39A at Kennedy Space Center in the USA! What rocket will Crew-2 launch on? Crew-2 will launch on a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft! It will also be the first SpaceX crew mission to use flight-proven hardware with Falcon 9 B1061-2 and Crew Dragon Endeavor C206-2. Who is the crew? There will be 4 people flying to the ISS!
